MediaMonks is looking beyond its server-side scripts in search of a superb Sr. PHP Developer. Developing world-class digital work for global agencies and brands, you need to be confident in coding for a broad spectrum of high-load, high-performance environments (read: lean, clean code that results in mean security).

The position is based at our Brazilian Branch—Yep, the Monks are heading to South America! Proficient ability to read and write English is a must for this position. Your colleagues come from all over the world, so several languages worth of swearing skills will also stand you in good stead.



Alongside other PHP Developers, you’ll work as part of a fully comprehensive production department. You’re a major cog in the development of award-winning campaigns and websites for many interesting brands. Your colleagues rely on you to develop back-end environments that run as effectively and efficiently as possible. And yeah, this might lead to a Head of PHP department position in the near future, it’s all on you. Simply prove your value and we will treat you right!

The role requires an expert-level knowledge of PHP and MySQL, as well as experience with Zend Framework and Laravel or Doctrine. Oh, you also work with Symfony? Perfect. What else? Tell us everything about your skills—anything with HTML, JavaScript and CSS is certainly an advantage. However, one of the most important qualities is your drive; your dedication and sense of responsibility. MediaMonks is built around flexibility.
