F&A Project Controller Expert & Team Coordinator

Position purpose:
We are looking for a candidate who can take over the role of project accounting and controlling expert along with the team coordination within F&A area for our Client.
The scope of activities for the team is very interesting and complex and includes in particular: AP scope (invoice processing, supplier & client queries, payments, cash application) including coordination of two countries, AR (issuing AR invoices, processing payments), GL & closing entries (accounts reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, JV processing, reporting). The scope for the expert role includes activities within C2C & R2R area.
Main accountabilities:
Independent expert role as project accountant/project controller combined with team coordinator role (managing 4 people working for same client)
Main accountabilities in the expert role: project set up, closing, project administration, issuing client invoices, controlling of project financial results in close cooperation with project controllers and project managers
Main accountabilities in team coordinator role: leading, managing and developing a team which consist of 4 individuals to deliver high quality, professional and proactive day to day service for the Client up to agreed SLA’s
Working closely with the Client and maintaining good working relationship
Providing process quality assurance, reviewing DTPs
Providing high quality various reporting both standard and non-standard
Driving and proposing process improvements within assigned scope to assure productivity gains increase is in line with contract requirement and Client satisfaction
Encourage cooperation, teamwork and knowledge sharing. Provide team members with coaching and assure process team training requirements are satisfied.
Requirements:
Experience in managing the team will be a strong asset
Experience in F&A processes, preferably GL or AR area
Very good German and English
Excel on at least intermediate level
Multitasking, ability to organize own and team work in compliance with the operational procedures, tight deadlines, KPI/Client’s reporting requirements, ad hoc priority tasks
Documented track of improvements implementations (technical, process and team work organization) will be an asset
Strong analytical skills
Good Customer Service skills and client-focus attitude
Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach
