£35,000 - £40,000 plus benefits
We are working with a leading design and manufacturer of products for the construction and build market to recruit a Procurement Officer to join their operations team. This is a strategic level role with a focus;
- Supplier Identification, analysis and development
- Continuous improvement across purchasing / buying function
- Cost Reduction
We are seeking applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate;
- Considerable strategic level purchasing / procurement experience gained within an industrial, ideally manufacturing setting to include demonstrable experience of;
- Supplier development and negotiation
- Identification of and running cost reduction programmes
- A sound level of education
- A high level of IT literacy
