On Site Level One Pharmacy Consultant



Essential Functions:
In order to work effectively as an On Site Level One Pharmacy Consultant, the position is expected to:
Manage and administer the Omnicell pharmacy system and supply
Conduct and manage the in-service training process which includes analysis of training needs, creation of effective presentations and evaluation of re-training needs.
Continually evaluate/monitor customer’s satisfaction with systems.
Coordinate any necessary enhancement/up-grades/BETA.
Identify problems and coordinate tasks necessary to solve them. (This may include interdepartmental task coordination).
Manage the generation of all necessary reports and tracking systems.
Attend required training/meetings.
On site troubleshooting and repair of Omnicell products.
Differentiate between hardware and software product problems.
Collect and report all customer and problem data in Omnicell database.
Escalate product bugs, malfunctions, and design issues through support channels for resolution.
Manage parts inventory and RMA process.
Manage software updates.

Required Knowledge and Skills:
The successful candidate will have the following skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Tech, as well as familiarity with and understanding of hospital pharmacy operations, and supply chain.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work well with customers and with employees at various levels.​
Must be able to multi-task.​
 A self-starter who is able to work independently and follow a detailed plan.​
Ability to assist with analysis of training needs and to set-up and conduct training sessions
Knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing software and project management software
Knowledge of computer networking and relational database systems
Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience

Work Conditions:
Local travel required
