This International school in Rome, Italy is looking for a UK qualified Year 4 teacher to start in September 2016.

This role is for a one year contract, which is renewable by mutual consent. Experience teaching internationally is desirable. 

Teachers interested in this role must be UK qualified teachers holding QTS and with recent and consistent experience of teaching the British National Curriculum. 

This school follows the PYP, MYP and IB programmes, any experience with this curriculum is an advantage.

Applicants must have a proven track record of planning lessons and supporting pupils to reach their full potential.

The School: 

This established International school in Rome is set in a new purpose built building which is very close to the city centre of Rome. 

The school caters for children aged between 2 up to 18 and follows the IB curriculum, offering the Primary Years Programme, iGCSEs and the IB diploma. 

The Primary school has an excellent library to facilitate learning with over 11,000 resources housed. The school also has a covered multi-purpose sports facility for Physical Education. 

The school invests in its teachers by offering an in-service training programme ensuring that staff are able to keep in touch with current educational trends. 

The Location: 

Rome is a city steeped in History, Art and Culture which attracts millions of visitors every year.

Particular attractions include The Vatican, and The Coliseum. Rome also has many cafes, bars, restaurants, museums and art galleries to visit. 

Getting around Rome is easy due to its extensive bus and tram travel network, keeping you well connected to different areas of the city. 

The Package:

Competitive salary from 27,300 to 35,000 euros dependent on qualifications and experience

Teachers are paid a 13 month wage by law in December. New teachers will receive a percentage of their salary earlier in the year

The school pay for single accommodation in a hotel for the first two weeks

Lunch vouchers are given monthly which can be used in supermarkets and restaurants
