My client has a reputation for quality and style with 2 practices very well appointed with the latest technology and high end frames.

As an Optical Assistant with my client you will be working between both practices giving you a variety during your working week. You will be a part of a small to medium size team covering all aspects of dispensing, contact lens teaches and pre screening as well as working as a team to ensure your practice looks at it best all the time.



They have a reputation for delivering the highest standards of dispensing and now require a professionally driven optical assistant to complement their teams.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant:
You will work within both busy dispensing practices in an all around role. You will be helping patients with all their eye care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames, NHS eye care and hearing health checks. You will be dispensing spectacles and making the most of all sales opportunities remembering it not only in the company interest but yours also as you will be on a rolling bonus scheme which can be very lucrative and growing with your progress through the ranks.

Requirements for the Optical Assistant:
You will need experience as an Optical Assistant and it is essential you can dispense spectacles to all levels. You will be pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service and using your commercial awareness using your skills to increase financial benefits to all concerned.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant:
On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of £13,500 - £17,000 with bonus on top as well as the opportunity to further your career for the right candidate. You will have 28 days holiday. You will work 9:00 - 5:30pm and NO Sunday's.
